Who we are
Premium Medical Services Limited provide quality medical care experience to every person anytime. Premium Medical Services Limited was, until 1995, a Medical Department of the Zambia State Insurance Corporation Limited (ZSIC).
It was sold as Management Buy Out in 1995 and has since then been operating as a Private Limited Company. It is one of the rare success stories of the Privatisation Programme undertaken by the Government of the Republic of Zambia.

The Hospital’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Sitali Maswenyeho is a Consultant Pediatrician with vast professional experience in both clinical and public health, including implementation of developmental work.
He has worked as a doctor at all levels leaving Zambia’s biggest hospital the Lusaka University Teaching hospital as senior doctor to practice public health in USAID health projects for 10 years. He also worked for the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) as HIV and AIDS specialist (PMTCT).
Mr. Alban M. Muyawa is the Chief Operations Officer and holds qualifications in Medical Diagnostics Radiography and Ultrasound as well as a Masters of Business Administration from Oxford Brookes University (United Kingdom) which he obtained in 2004.
He is a Fellow of the Zambia Institute of Marketing and was also a member of the Institute of Directors of Zambia. He served as Council Secretary for the Zambia Institute of Marketing for four years.
Mr. Laban K. Kalwa is a Chief Accountant Officer and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Copperbelt University and ZICA Licentiate. He has over 20 years’ experience in the Industry which exposed him in mining as hospital accountant, he helped in commercialising the ZCCM Nkana and Wusakile Mine Hospitals.
He also served as Chief Internal Auditor for The Zambia International Trade Fair and later served as the Chief Accountant for Mukuba Hotel. He is also a member of The Institute of Internal Auditors, and serves as a member of the audit committee at the ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services.
